Branding the Change to the Live Music Scene

bside is bridging the gap between independent musicians and their supporters by establishing direct connections between artists and fans. Little Taller defined their visual identity, including there logo and visual elements before designing and developing the introductory landing page.

Designing for Direct Connections

Little Taller led on all aspects of branding, digital design, and development for bside’s brand and website. This project would face high profile members of the music industry, so it was important to nail down the brands voice to clearly community the mission and vision of bside.

Little Taller’s design and development teams came together to build a custom landing page to display bside’s mission and business models to artists, giving artists and fans a way to connect and take charge of their live performances.

Concepts for bside’s custom logo reflect its residence in the music industry and the company’s goal in keeping the process of performing simple and true to the artists’ wishes. The branding plays into the concept of flipping the current industry standard. Making direct connections between artists and fans as easy as flipping the record over.

Landing page design and development was focused on keeping designs and interactivity distinctly clean, fresh, and modern. bside’s mission is unique within the music industry and we aimed to reflect that energy in the site's.

The completion of this project allowed bside to connect with new consumers and state their mission clearly to artists. Their dedication to changing the way the live music scene is clearly conveyed through the site and has connected them with likeminded artists and fans.
